Box Preschool Playgroup - News & Events

We are looking forward to welcoming all our new starters and their families to our pre-school.

We start back with a story-telling theme, beginning with traditional tales including Three Little Pigs, Goldilocks and the Three Bears, Jack and the Beanstalk, and Little Red Riding Hood.

Our regular sports sessions continue and we will be getting our 2025 cohort ready for school during our Little Acorns sessions.

Ofsted Outstanding

In December 2022 we were delighted to receive the highly sought-after Outstanding grade from Ofsted with a very positive report. Yvonne, the playgroup supervisor who has managed the playgroup for 12 years, was delighted with the report, commenting, "I am so proud of my team as I know each one goes above and beyond to provide high quality care and education. But as pleased as we are right now, we don’t plan to rest on our laurels and we will continue to improve and work with our children and their parents to provide the best outcomes we can."
